Kathryn
Owner
Kathryn has worked in the beauty industry for over thirty years, in the UK and overseas. For more than two decades of that she taught beauty therapy, and she counts it a privilege to have helped so many people into the industry at the start of their careers.
Skincare is where her own interest sits, which is why she brought the Skin Rocks range into the salon.
Kathryn took ownership of Serenity in November 2024. Since then she has concentrated on getting to know the clients and building a skilled, professional team, and she looks forward to welcoming new and returning faces alike.
Mark
Style Director / Colour Specialist
Mark has been a hairdresser since 1983 and spent twenty-eight years in London with an award-winning international brand. He holds a L'Oréal Colour Degree and builds a complete look around what an individual client actually wants, which starts with listening properly.
He joined Serenity in 2019.

Lia
Senior Stylist · Kérastase Care Coach
Lia joined Serenity in 2016, completed her apprenticeship here and qualified as a stylist in 2018. She has trained widely since, including bleaching, barbering and advanced colouring.
From 2020 to 2023 she was part of the Label.M session styling team, working backstage at London Fashion Week. Balayage is where her heart is, and building a look that belongs to one particular client rather than to a trend.
Since January 2026 Lia has been our certified Kérastase Care Coach, which means she is the one who runs the K-Scan hair and scalp analysis and reads the results with you.

Izzy
Senior Stylist
Izzy has been building her craft since finishing college in 2013. She has managed salons, spent a year styling in London for an international brand and is forever picking up new techniques.
What she enjoys most is working out where a client wants to get to and then taking them there over however many visits it takes.

Frances
Senior Stylist
Frances has seven years in the industry, trained with Toni & Guy and has worked in salons including The Chapel as well as internationally with Aveda. That background shows in a technical, versatile approach to cutting.
She works to a philosophy of nature and nurture: enhance what a client already has rather than fight it, and protect the condition of the hair while doing it. Clients tend to leave having trusted the process.

Kim
Beauty Therapist
Kim has been in the beauty industry since 2011, working in luxury spas and clinics across East Sussex. She is Level 3 qualified and her strength is results-driven treatment, tailored on the day rather than off a menu.

Beth
Junior Stylist
Beth joined Serenity in 2021, drawn in by the creative side of the industry. The transformation is the part she enjoys, and what it does for how a client carries themselves afterwards.
She is steadily widening her skill set with the senior team alongside her.

Phoebe
Junior Stylist
Phoebe is currently working through her Advanced Hairdressing Apprenticeship, growing in confidence and keeping up with where the industry is going.
She has a particular soft spot for a full head of foils, likes meeting new people and is glad to be part of a team this supportive.

Rachel
Junior Stylist
Rachel started her hairdressing career at Serenity in 2021 and recently came away with a distinction in her Level 2 Hairdressing Diploma. Colour is where her interest is strongest.
She is keen to keep learning, and to keep sending clients out feeling more confident than when they came in.
